Edmonton 2019

For the last three days I was in Edmonton. My mother and I had to pick up some paintings to bring back home. We had a large van so we decided to stay in a motor inn. The motor inn my mother chose was Executive Royal Hotel West. It was a really good hotel and I definitely recommend it if you don’t want a pool at the hotel. During our stay in Edmonton we picked up the paintings, went to West Edmonton Mall to shop and go to the World Waterpark, go to Muttart Conservatory and The Art Gallery of Alberta. Here’s some photos from our stay in Edmonton.

Hampton Court

In 2015 I went to London and during my stay there I visited Hampton Court. Hampton Court was the palace that Henry VIII ruled at. The infamous King who had six wives. If it wasn’t for some of his wives being so likeable I wouldn’t have gone. I absolutely love the two wives who were related, Anne Boleyn and Katheryn Howard. Here I am going to show you some photos from my visit.

Iberostar Varadero Food

This resort had very good food! I was allowed to go to three of their four restaurants that need reservations but only went to two. One was Cuban and one was Japanese. Both were great. Then there is the main restaurant which is a buffet. A cafe and there are also bars. I have some photos down below showing you some of what it is like.

Havana Tour

We booked our Havana tour when we booked our trip. Although you can also book a Havana tour at the resort you stay at. There are a couple of different Havana Tours. We took the Havana Tour which goes to Ernest Hemingways house.

Our day started with Pina Coladas (with alcohol or without) in pineapples. I bought a pink door hook at a gift shop which was beside the place with the Pina Coladas. Next we were off to Ernest Hemingways house. I recently began his book The Sun Also Rises. Having read some of one of his novels got me thrilled to go and see his house in Havana. His house is very beautiful and I have a few photos down below for you to see. After Ernest Hemingways house we went to a Cigar and alcohol shop. The building has beautiful swan balconies as shown below. Then to a restaurant for lunch. Next stop was a car ride in old fashioned cars. The car ride took us to a graveyard. We were supposed to visit the graveyard but found out there that it was closed for the day. There was a walking tour of Havana after the short stop to the graveyard. We saw a couple hundred year old governors mansion, a hotel that Ernest Hemingway had stayed at, one of his favourite bars and another bar which we stopped inside briefly. Next for our trip was a dinner and then a cannon ball ceremony. This all went to about 9pm before we started on our way back to our resorts.

Delta Hotels by Marriot

Our hotel room at Delta Hotels by Marriot was very good. It was tidy, had enough space, comfy beds and free disposable cups so that you could take a drink to go. This hotel had a cafe, a restaurant, pool with a waterslide, a hot tub and the hotel was also connected to a shopping mall. This way to go shopping you didn’t even need to step outside. While in Regina I made a stop to the Saskatchewan Science Centre which was a lot of fun. I saw mirrors, made bubbles and lifted myself the weight that I would be if I was on Mars. The trip was only one night but was still a lot of fun. A good trip in a short time.
