Our hotel room at Delta Hotels by Marriot was very good. It was tidy, had enough space, comfy beds and free disposable cups so that you could take a drink to go. This hotel had a cafe, a restaurant, pool with a waterslide, a hot tub and the hotel was also connected to a shopping mall. This way to go shopping you didn’t even need to step outside. While in Regina I made a stop to the Saskatchewan Science Centre which was a lot of fun. I saw mirrors, made bubbles and lifted myself the weight that I would be if I was on Mars. The trip was only one night but was still a lot of fun. A good trip in a short time.

I made sugar cookies last night. The recipe was from the book “The Silver Palate Cookbook.” They took a couple of hours, however they turned out really well! Photos are down below.
One of the treats I am having for Christmas is meringues. https://www.incredibleegg.org/cooking-school/eggs-baking/make-hard-meringue/ I used this recipe. Here is what they looked like while making them and then the final product.

During my summer in 2014 I went to Nova Scotia as I do every summer. Although this year I went to Prince Edward Island as well. Some photos and more explanations are just below.
Dalvay By the Sea
Kate Middleton and Prince William had been at this resort before I had. There was a cardboard Kate Middleton and Prince William by the entrance. It was fascinating to know that Royals from England had previously stayed were me and part of my family were. I really enjoyed being so close to the ocean as well. Here are some photos from my stay!
Our other adventures in Prince Edward Island included Anne of Green Gables close to Charlottetown and in Charlottetown. Some photos are here!
Gingerbread Pumpkin Vanilla Granola Cupcakes
Mix 4 tablespoons of Gingerbread syrup, 3 tablespoons water, 2 cups dark brown sugar, 2 cups rolled oats, 2 cups pumpkin flax, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla in a saucepan. Stir on medium heat for 3 minutes and then pour into the paper cups and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Decorated Sugar Cookies
I visited Victoria, British Columbia in April. The reason I went to Victoria this year was my Grandma and Grandpas art show. A fun coincidence is that in 2014 I was in Victoria just a month earlier from when I went this year. Down below is a collection of pictures of my holiday in Victoria besides the art show.

A boat ride to Las Caletas, a buffet dinner and then the show
The Iguana Restaurant
Vallarta Botanical Gardens
Rocky Horror Picture Show at Act II Entertainment
My mom saw the classes online and signed me up for it before we arrived in Puerto Vallarta. It was nice getting to make pieces that I could take home and use. The classes were also a lot easier than I expected, probably because of the teachers.

Vatican city is the smallest country in the world, it is also located in Rome. The outside of the Vatican doesn’t really seem real to me and my pictures don’t do it justice at all. If you plan on looking inside, taking a tour will fast forward you into the Vatican. You’ll be saving yourself from lost time and fainting from the heat, which I almost did a couple of times.
The area shown below is off limits to public, however it is allowed with the tour.
