Just a few days ago I went to Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa in Watrous. Being so used to the cold, the mineral water felt amazing as it was so warm. At the spa I also had lunch and it was perfect since I didn’t have to change when the time came for when I wanted food. Another great part of the resort is the gift shop. At the gift shop you can buy face masks, bath salts and more. On the ride home I always like to use one of their face masks. Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa really is an ideal place to go to in the winter.
Iberostar Mojito is a wonderful resort in Cayo Coco, Cuba. My mom booked our flights and stay at the resort just a couple of days before we left to go there. The all inclusive resort and our flights there and back cost about $3000. The trip lasted a week and was during spring break and a few days after. Here’s some photos from my stay there!
I settled into the hotel room at Hotel Due Torri and had gotten ready for the day exploring. I decided to begin the day by walking without a planned direction and within 5 minutes I arrived at the Pantheon. By the Pantheon I enjoyed some gelato.
On my first night in Rome I visited Trevi Fountain. Around Trevi Fountain was very crowded. There was a movie or commercial shooting there, however I don’t know if thats really the reason for the crowd.
On the second day (July 9, 2016) I went to Castel Sant’angelo.
Later in the day I enjoyed a Merangue at Antico Forno.
I began my third day in Rome (July 10, 2016) at Borghese Gardens.
After visiting the Borghese I went on a Viator tour of the Coliseum.
The Fourth day (July 11, 2016) was a trip to Pompeii and a climb to the top of Mount Vesuvius. I didn’t plan my outfit well, but still made it to the top of the Volcano after exploring Pompeii.
The next day (July 12, 2016) started with a Viator tour of the Vatican.
After the tour with Viator I walked around the city and found the Vittoriano.
There was a tour with Viator that was for a dinner at a family’s villa Casa Sospisio. The tour begins as a walk to the villa from a meeting point. Once you arrive at the villa there is a tour of part of the villa. One room in the villa was a theatre. Theres a part in the theatre where they discovered a ruin that was hidden by a wall before. Once you’ve been shown around the villa there is dinner. A good part to know about is that purchasing this tour helps the family keep the villa as their home.
The last day I had in Rome I visited the Trevi Fountain for the second time. It was much less crowded compared to the time I visited before.
For the rest of the last day I had in Rome I visited the Capitoline Museum and Hotel de Russie for treats.

My mom saw the classes online and signed me up for it before we arrived in Puerto Vallarta. It was nice getting to make pieces that I could take home and use. The classes were also a lot easier than I expected, probably because of the teachers.

Vatican city is the smallest country in the world, it is also located in Rome. The outside of the Vatican doesn’t really seem real to me and my pictures don’t do it justice at all. If you plan on looking inside, taking a tour will fast forward you into the Vatican. You’ll be saving yourself from lost time and fainting from the heat, which I almost did a couple of times.
The area shown below is off limits to public, however it is allowed with the tour.

Day trips to different parts of Nova Scotia can easily be taken from Halifax. Two favourites of mine are Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg are just half an hour apart from each other and only about an hour away from Halifax.
Peggy’s Cove
If you go to Peggy’s Cove please do not go too close to the ocean or on the wet rocks, for you do not want to be swept away. The areas in the pictures down below are safe to go to, just watch your step.
Out of Peggy’s Cove and into Lunenburg, a colourful oceanside town from the late 19th century.
On my final day in Germany I walked from my last hotel the Holiday Inn Express Munich City West to Nymphenburg. Walking over was much better than taking a taxi because of the fall colours and surprisingly warm weather. Unfortunately after a few hours at Nymphenburg I was so tired that I had to taxi back to the hotel.
